1. Who we are
This website is operated by Aviritech Limited (“Aviritech”, “we”, “us” or “our”), whose registered address is Shashilga Court, Mabushi, Abuja, Nigeria. For the personal information described in this policy, we are the data controller.
You can contact us about privacy at any time at info@aviritech.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers personal information we handle through aviritech.com, including the demo websites hosted under aviritech.com/demos, and the emails you send us from it.
It does not cover data that our business customers put into the Aviritech software they license from us, such as employee, patient, guest or customer records. For that data our customer is the controller, we act only on their instructions, and the relevant customer agreement or data processing agreement applies instead of this policy.
3. Information we collect
Information you choose to send us. Our contact, demo, newsletter and careers forms open your own email app with a pre-filled message. We receive only what you send, which may include:
- your name, email address, phone number, company and industry;
- the content of your message or enquiry;
- your CV and application details if you apply for a role;
- your email address if you ask to join our newsletter.
Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. These are used to run and secure the website.
Information stored only in your browser. The demo websites may save preferences (such as light or dark mode, language or text size) and sample activity in your browser's local storage so they keep working as you click around. This stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
4. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- reply to your enquiries and arrange demos, calls or proposals;
- consider job applications;
- send newsletters you have asked for, which you can stop at any time;
- keep the website secure, prevent misuse and fix problems;
- meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
We rely on the following legal bases under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, where it applies, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation: your consent; steps you ask us to take before entering a contract; our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business, where these are not overridden by your rights; and compliance with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers store or process data outside Nigeria. Where we transfer personal information abroad, we do so in line with applicable data protection law, for example by relying on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other lawful safeguards.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes above. As a guide, general enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unsuccessful job applications for up to 12 months, and newsletter details until you unsubscribe. We may keep information longer where the law requires it or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. However, no website, email or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send to us. You send information at your own risk, and we encourage you not to email passwords, payment card details or sensitive personal data.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or complete it;
- ask us to delete it or restrict how we use it;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including direct marketing;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
To use any of these rights, email info@aviritech.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within the time the law allows. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or your local data protection authority, although we would welcome the chance to resolve it with you first.
10. Demo websites
The demos under aviritech.com/demos are showcases. All businesses, people, prices and records in them are fictional, and bookings, payments, uploads and messages are simulated. Please do not enter real personal, health, financial or payment information into a demo. Anything you type stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
11. Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-party websites
Our website may link to websites and services we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own responsibility, and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing information with them.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
14. Contact us
